Mark Johnson is an accomplished attorney who can take your case to trial if necessary. He is a former public defender, college professor and retired police lieutenant and during his police career worked as a police officer, sergeant and lieutenant and had assignments in patrol, traffic, narcotics, investigations, administration and research, vice and internal affairs. While on the job he attended Southwestern Law School, an ABA (American Bar Association) accredited law school.
Mark Johnson was motivated to become an attorney because he wanted an opportunity to continue to make a difference in people’s lives. He believes in the American justice system but knows the legal system can be overwhelming and intimidating. He enjoys advocating for others and giving a voice to people in court.
He often takes on difficult cases and enjoys representing the underdog, oppressed, weak and disenfranchised. He keeps an open mind as to each case to determine a winning strategy.
Mark Johnson’s law enforcement background has provided him with an invaluable background and insight that gives him an edge in the courtroom unlike other attorneys. In criminal cases, he knows where to look to find evidence that is not always disclosed and how to impeach the credibility of police witnesses and forensic experts. The value of this background is not limited to criminal cases and promotes a mature and tenacious approach to all litigation matters.
He practices in both state and federal courts throughout California.
